About Fr. Thomas Saucier, O.P., Associate Chaplain
Fr. Thomas Saucier, O.P., is a Roman Catholic Priest of the Order of Preachers (Dominicans). Fr. Thomas began his ministry at the University of St. Thomas in July 2025 after 29 years of priesthood and experience in Campus Ministry at the University of Missouri - Columbia, the University of Arizona – Tucson, Occidental College – Los Angeles, and Indiana University – Bloomington. Fr. Thomas joined the Dominicans in 1989 and was ordained in 1996, receiving an M.Div., and an M.A. in Historical Theology from Aquinas Institute of Theology in St. Louis, Missouri.
Fr. Thomas has spent much of his priesthood around young people. Along with Campus Ministry experience, Fr. Thomas has ministered in parishes, hospitals, hospices, and the Dominican high school in Oak Park, IL, Fenwick High School. Fr. Thomas’ interests include movies, traveling, food, the Tour de France, and reading. His current claim to fame is that he knows Pope Leo XIV.
