Community College Pathways

Apply to St. Thomas by November 1 for Early Action and hear back sooner, giving you a head start on your journey to becoming a Tommie. Start Your Application

Nearly 50% of our transfer students come from community colleges. We offer pathways for select majors that indicate the specific community college courses that meet St. Thomas' major requirements.

All transfer students who complete the Minnesota Transfer Curriculum (MnTC) will satisfy our undergraduate core curriculum requirements after completing the following at St. Thomas:

  • One additional theology course
  • One additional philosophy course
  • A transfer student specific experience during orientation
  • The Capstone experience
