Scholarships for International Students
International Scholarship
Prospective international undergraduate students are eligible to be considered for a merit-based scholarship that covers 10% to 70% of their tuition costs.
To get started, apply for admission to St. Thomas and submit one or all of the following items for consideration:
- Test scores (ACT or SAT)
- Letters of recommendation
- Personal essay, which can include information about financial need, if applicable
- Resume

GHR Fellows Program
The GHR Fellows program is a highly competitive, transformational undergraduate experience for students pursuing careers in business. Fellows receive full-tuition scholarships to the University of St. Thomas and customized programming designed to deliver leadership experiences - including global exposure through a fully funded J-Term study abroad experience.
Eligibility:
- Prospective first-year students who have applied to St. Thomas
- Intend to major in business
- Cumulative high school GPA of at least 3.7
- Embody the mission and values of the University of St. Thomas
- Model the values of GHR by demonstrating that you are ethical, innovative, globally aware and engaged in your community
Application: Eligible students must complete an application by January 7 and be invited to attend the GHR Fellows Program Test Day held in late February. Scholarship recipients are notified in March.
Deadline: January 5, 2024
Schulze Innovation Scholarship
These competitive scholarships are awarded by the Schulze School of Entrepreneurship to applicants with proven entrepreneurship potential who intend to major in Entrepreneurship. Multiple full-tuition scholarships will be awarded each year to qualified candidates.
Eligibility:
- Prospective first-year students who have applied to St. Thomas
- Intend to major in Entrepreneurship
- Preference for students with a high school GPA of 3.5 or greater
Application: Eligible students must complete an application by January 7 and be invited to attend the Schulze Innovation Program Test Day held in late February. Scholarship recipients are notified in March.
Deadline: January 5, 2024
Music Major Scholarships
Amount: Four-year scholarships ranging from $6,000 to $25,000
Eligibility: Students considering majors in music, music performance, music education or music business
Application:
- Online application via the standard Application Portal
- Audition video
- Two music recommendations
- If selected, perform at the on-campus scholarship invitational in late February
Deadline: February 2, 2024
Guadalupe's Scholars Program
Amount: $2,000 per year
Eligibility:
- Prospective first-year/freshmen students who have been admitted to St. Thomas
- Involved in parish and Latino community
- Intend to major or minor in Catholic Studies
Deadline: March 7, 2024
